Hi.
This is where I get to say something clever about myself. This seems a tad pretentious but bear with me. It is expected after all. As you have no doubt deduced from the website name and the website URL, I am Jeremiah McCoy. I was born and raised in Tennessee. I have since moved around and ended up comfortably placed in the lovely town of Cary, NC. I work as Quality Assurance Lead on an MMORPG, which is a lovely job if not as much fun as you might imagine. I live alone with my delusions of grandeur.
I am something of a want to be writer. That is to say i write things which may or may not be good but I keep trying. Occasionally those things even see the light of day.
I am also a podcaster. I have a podcast called The Basics of the Game. It is my review, interview and discussion show for everything related to role playing games. The episodes do come on an indeterminate schedule buit I like to think they are of some quality. I have been doing it for over 2 years now so I am thinking I may continue. It has lead to me meeting some really interesting people so I am pleased over all.
I also do some amateur voice acting. I am a regular in several productions at Pendant Productions, including Dixie Stenberg and her Brassy Battalion and Once Upon a Time in Vegas. I have also worked with Colonial Radio Theater, Broken Sea Audio, and the Sonic Society. I am unlikely to leave my day job to become the next Frank Welker. I enjoy the work though and I hope to continue.
